Winter 2003/04 : New recording sessions as the Reconstruction, the new band features Bruce on vocals, Tom Byars on baritone guitar, Will Byars on bass, Kelly Morse on guitar, and Tony Purazella on drums.

2002 : Tom Byars and Bruce Joyner are playing in a band : it is a new version of Out of the Fire.

Bruce Joyner contributed (vocals, as part of The Bigfoot Choir with Steve Wynn, Johnette, Fish Kharma, Paul Kamanski, ...) to Frenzy, LP/CD by Mojo Nixon & Skid Roper issued in 1986 on Restless Records # 72127 and recorded at Hit City West, L.A.

Suspense - Rubberband issued in 1991 (on Hou La La / Bondage, France) The band : Sus Emery (vocals, acoustic guitars, 12-strings electric guitar - he was (in the late 80's) the singer of the french band Cherokees) , with Pat Byars (electric guitars, steel & slide, organ, vocals) and Marko Fox (bass), both have played with Bruce Joyner. also : David "Country" Hollis : drums, Lizzy Ballogh, vocals, Patti Thornton, vocals. Pat Byars also produced the record, and co-wrote one song. recorded at L.A. Music Production Studio, Los Angeles, Sept.1990.

SOIL OF THE SOUTH is the recording studio owned by Mark Neill, with Dave Boyle acting now as a photograph.
Bruce Joyner & the Unknowns recorded there the album Southern Decay in 1990.
Mark Neill , David Boyle and Craig Packham kept playing and recording as the Unknowns, and expect to have another Unknowns cd coming out soon.
Mark and Craig will also be playing with Rip Carson & Josie Kreuzer at the third High Rockabilly Festival in Calafell, Spain in September 2002.

Steve Allen and Pete Nalda (guitar and keyboards with Out Of The Fire, and also on Hot Georgia Nights) are located in Austin, Texas, and playing (1997, 98) with bassist Bill Lawson in a band called Rumbullion, Pete Nalda playing now basque accordion. A CD has been issued.
